End of First Year Utility Bill Analysis
The end of first year utility bill analysis incorporates the information supplied through the monthly collection of utility bills. The analysis compares the pre-construction energy baseline and the twelve months subsequent to the project’s final completion to identify changes and anomalies, what energy costs would have been, and recommendations for changes in future years

Seasonal System Observations
Seasonal system observations ensure that all systems are functioning optimally as the transition from one season to the next occurs. This includes an on-site review of the set points, scheduling, and exceptions reporting in the energy management system, a walk-through of mechanical systems to specifically look for observations regarding system operation, and an interview with staff to help tailor facility operations and energy management to changing needs.

Energy Management System Optimization
Modifications to energy management systems are inevitable. The dynamics of facility use often require changes to pre-determined schedules.  The key is to manage the required modifications with a plan to return settings to optimize energy efficiency. We will provide a system to manage and track changes in facility use (i.e., programming exceptions) via the energy management system and chart the ramifications of those changes or exceptions. 

ENERGY STAR^® Portfolio Management
Custom Energy is committed to leveraging the benefits of ENERGY STAR’s national facility benchmarking standard.  We will take the required steps to complete all data entry of pre and post performance contract information in the ENERGY STAR system for comparison to national norms. For those properties that meet ENERGY STAR requirements, we will submit the properties for appropriate recognition. This will result in positive reinforcement and recognition of energy saving efforts.
